While undertaking his PhD at the University of Oxford, Ross worked with his supervisor, Professor Paul Leeson, to develop an algorithm designed to overcome limitations in echocardiography. This research generated the underlying technology that led to the creation of Ultromics, which spun out of the University of Oxford in 2017.
Since founding the company, Ross has led the development of EchoGo® and the growth of Ultromics into a global cardiovascular AI company, as well as multiple rounds of investment to support its expansion.
He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Science & Healthcare in 2019.
